Dolmen Shopping Festival, keenly awaited annual shopping extravaganza held at the Dolmen Malls in Karachi, began on December 20th and will be on-going across Dolmen Mall Clifton, Tariq Road and Hyderi till January 4th, 2015.
The Dolmen Shopping Festivals’ opening on December 20th was a sombre tribute for the children who lost their life in the Peshawar school attack. Speaking at the opening, Mr. Adnan Maqbool, General Manager Marketing for Dolmen Malls said, “We are dedicating the entire Dolmen Shopping Festival to the children of Pakistan.”
“All the Dolmen Malls in Karachi during 18 days festival will be as a destination to promote and celebrate our art, culture and most importantly celebrate those precious moments with our next generation.” Maqbool further added.
Highlight of the shopping festival is the interactive game, Khelo aur Jeeto which is a localized version of the popular board game, Monopoly. In addition, the festival also features, plays by students from Indus Valley, interactive games for families at Sindbad and fashion showcase by the retail brands within the Dolmen Malls.
Bringing together three Dolmen shopping malls, Clifton, Tariq Road & Hyderi, more than 50 brand partners and over 100 outlets are participating in the 18-day Dolmen Shopping Festival, offering an array of attractive weekly cash prizes, special offers and discounts at all participating outlets. The festival runs till 4th January.
Top bloggers and influencers were invited to the first of its kind treasure hunt in Pakistan on 22nd December 2014. The bloggers were briefed about the Dolmen Shopping Festival at Barista Lavazza and served refreshments.
This was followed by the much anticipated #DSFKHI Treasure Hunt. Around 40 bloggers and influencers made their way across Dolmen City Mall whilst trying to complete the given set of tasks in the allotted time.
Umair Mirza from Umairica was the first one to complete the Treasure Hunt and won the first prize; an HP Tablet worth 40,000 PKR!
The first and second runner ups were also awarded prizes.
The participants loved this exciting event and the brands which took part were Sindbad, Kaju, Yellow, Object, Kerestase Lounge and Dolmen itself had activities in the Treasure Hunt.
All the bloggers present were given goodies by several brands at the end of the evening, as a thank you token for taking part in the Dolmen Shopping Festival.
