With winter comes a long list of delicious food and drinks. Dry fruits, coffee, pumpkin spice muffins and my personal favourite, Gajar ka Halwa (carrot pudding)!
This year I decided to get my hands dirty and try this microwavable version of the sweet comforting treat 🙂
This is prepared in just fifteen to twenty minutes if you have all the ingredients at hand.
- 500 grams or 2 cups grated carrots/gajar
- 125 ml or 1 cup DayFresh Full Fat Milk
- 5 to 6 tablespoon sugar
- 125 ml or 1 cup fresh khoya (evaporated milk)
- 1 to 2 tablespoon ghee
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp almond, pistachios or cashew slices for garnishing
- 2 tbsp cream
